Our Work
The Center for Wildlife Ethics (CWE) is a public interest organization dedicated to safeguarding native wildlife by:
Instilling an ethical voice in wildlife public policy
Exposing political, corporate and economic interests most harmful to wildlife and the environment
Valuing the life of every individual wild animal as well as entire populations of species
Crafting and pursuing strategies to empower authentic wildlife protectionists who are traditionally unrepresented
Promoting non-violent solutions for human conflicts with wildlife
Advocating before administrative, legislative and judicial bodies
Monitoring governmental bodies for compliance and consistency with their own wildlife-related laws and policies
CWE pursues only those reforms and objectives that substantively benefit animals and their advocates. CWE does not receive any state or federal funding. Our work is made possible by the support of those who value our tenacity and commitment to animal protection.
